Washer Not Draining?

Water left in the drum, unusually wet clothes and a cycle that stops early can describe different problems. Explain what happens at the end of the cycle.

$80 diagnostic visit, credited toward your repair if you proceed. If you decline, the $80 remains due. You receive the repair price before work begins.

Standing water or wet laundry?

If water remains visible in the drum, say so. If the drum empties but clothes remain wet, note whether the machine seems to spin. Drainage, spin operation and controls need to be assessed according to the actual symptom before any parts are recommended.

The cycle and error display

Note the selected cycle, any displayed code and an unusual sound before the washer stopped. A photo of the display can help. Do not keep running test cycles if the machine leaks or behaves abnormally; leave disassembly and electrical checks to the technician.

Front-load, top-load or stacked?

Tell us the washer type and whether a dryer is stacked above it. Stacking, cabinetry and narrow laundry closets affect access even though they do not identify the fault. If water or laundry remains inside, tell us rather than forcing the door.

Preparing the laundry space

Include basement stairs, upper-floor laundry or narrow doorways when relevant. Brand and model details are useful if easy to find, but not required to book. Keep the approach clear without moving the machine yourself.
